God has called us to serve alongside the Thompson Family in Algarrobo, Chile, where we will invest the next five years laboring in the local church and community. During this time, our focus will be on faithfully serving at Iglesia Bíblica Bautista de Algarrobo—sharing the gospel, discipling believers, and strengthening the growing ministry already established there. Our desire is to come alongside the Thompsons and the church body to help equip and encourage local believers for the work of the ministry.

Algarrobo is part of Chile’s Quinta Región (Fifth Region), which has a population of over 1.8 million people. This area is predominantly Catholic and has very few gospel-preaching churches—within a 60-mile radius of Algarrobo, there is currently only one solid, Bible-believing congregation. The need for sound biblical teaching and gospel outreach is great.

After our initial five years of service, Iglesia Bíblica Bautista de Algarrobo plans to send us out to plant a new church somewhere within the surrounding region. Our prayer is that through these years of preparation, language growth, and ministry experience, the Lord will clearly direct where He would have us begin this new work. We are trusting Him to open doors, provide ministry partners, and bear lasting fruit for His glory throughout the Quinta Región and beyond.
